Lucia and Jason are the headline act, but no GTA story works without the mess of criminals, hustlers and hangers-on around them.
Here’s who we’ve officially met so far through Rockstar’s own trailers and the Netflix Extended Look – the names actually confirmed, not just rumoured.
Brian Heder

The trafficker Jason effectively works for in exchange for a place to live. Heder also kicks off one of the game’s key set pieces. Heder hosts a rooftop party at the Effluvia bar in downtown Vice City, where he offers Lucia and Jason a job. If you’re looking for the guy pulling Jason’s strings early on, it’s him.
Boobie Ike

A crime contact who brings Lucia and Jason in for a pickup job. Vice City’s criminal economy runs on guys like Ike, the ones who always seem to have a job that needs doing and someone else to take the risk.
Andres de Leon

Shown at a fancy party where Lucia and Jason end up working protection detail as bodyguards – a good sign the pair’s “jobs” are going to range from back-alley robberies all the way up to high-society security gigs.
Raul

Gives Lucia a bit of encouragement about becoming a “professional” at this whole crime thing. Raul is one of the smaller character beats that’s already got fans reading into what kind of mentor (or bad influence) he’ll turn out to be.
Rayman and Nesto

Two names tied to the drug side of the story: Rayman runs a drug lab that factors into an early mission, while Nesto’s the one who calls in a warning about an incoming task force raid. Expect both to matter more once the full game drops.
Cal

Jason’s friend, last seen fishing with him in one of the trailers’ rare calm moments, is a small but telling detail about who Jason is when people like Heder are not leaning on him.
Worth remembering
This list will only grow between now and November 19. Rockstar tends to hold a lot of its cast back until launch, so consider this the starting roster, not the final one.
